Dr. Jeremy Barnett received his medical degree in 1996 at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He then finished an internship at Baystate Medical Center and went on to complete his residencies at the University of Medicine and Dentistry University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center.
He did his fellowships at Mount Sinai Hospital and at the Mayo Clinic. As a result of all of his training, Dr. Barnett is certified in critical care by the American Board of Internal Medicine. In 2022, he also earned his Juris Doctorate from Concord Law School at Purdue University.
Dr. Barnett is known to demonstrate compassion for patients and their families. He is hardworking and is always willing to go the extra mile. Dr. Barnett personally calls families daily, sometimes several times daily, to give them updates on their loved ones’ condition. He spends numerous hours educating his staff, fostering teamwork, and caring for the sickest of the sick. He does all these things not for recognition, but in order to be of service.
